Terms of Service
Welcome to TuneTube. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TuneTube application and related services provided by Sumait Tech ("we", "us", or "our"). By using TuneTube, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
TuneTube is a custom media client built for Amazon Fire TV devices that allows users to view and manage their personal YouTube feeds in a lean-back television environment. TuneTube is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, YouTube, or Amazon.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use TuneTube. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Google Account and YouTube
To use TuneTube, you must have a valid Google account. Your use of Google and YouTube services is subject to Google's Terms of Service and YouTube's Terms of Service. TuneTube accesses your YouTube data in read-only mode via the youtube.readonly scope. You are responsible for complying with all applicable third-party terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use TuneTube for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to the service
- Use the service to distribute malware or harmful content
- Circumvent any access controls or usage limits imposed by Google or YouTube
5. Intellectual Property
TuneTube, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Sumait Tech and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Video content displayed through TuneTube is owned by its respective rights holders and is provided through YouTube under Google's terms.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
TuneTube is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We are not responsible for changes to Google's or YouTube's APIs that may affect service availability.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sumait Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of TuneTube, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to TuneTube at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the application and revoking TuneTube's access to your Google account through your Google Account settings.
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of TuneTube after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
